Whirlpool Refrigerator Broken Wires Investigation
CSKD is investigating potential class action claims against Whirlpool arising out of defective wires used in refrigerator and freezer doors of certain side-by-side or French-door style Whirlpool, MayTag, Kitchenaid, Kenmore, and Jenn-Air branded refrigerators. Consumers have reported that their ice makers, water dispensers, and other functions inside the freezer door of Whirlpool-manufactured refrigerators, frequently fail due to broken wires at or near the freezer door hinge, often within just a few years of purchase. Repairing these broken wires often requires replacement of the entire freezer door, which can cost as much as purchasing a new refrigerator. If you own a Whirlpool-manufactured refrigerator and have experienced broken wires at the freezer door hinge, please fill out the form below.
