Vanilla Prepaid Gift Card Stolen Funds  – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action related to alleged claims of fraud in relation to Vanilla Prepaid Visa gift cards. These Visa gift cards can be purchased at a number of different stores and any amount between $10-$500 can be added to the card.  Consumers are reporting that when checking and/or confirming the balance that the funds on the card have disappeared and no longer accessible. When reaching out to customer service, they are given a number of different reasons for the lost funds including that it was deactivated for security reasons and/or the amount was withdrawn to register an internet domain.
