2020-2026 Toyota Shattered Rear Window  – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating a potential class action lawsuit regarding an alleged defect causing spontaneous rear window shattering in several 2020–2026 Toyota models, including the RAV4, Highlander, Corolla Cross, Tacoma, 4Runner, and Sienna.

Owners report that the tempered rear glass may explode unexpectedly and without external impact. These incidents have been reported while vehicles are parked, while driving at highway speeds, or shortly after engaging the rear defroster. In many instances, the glass reportedly shatters into dangerous fragments, creating a safety hazard and leaving the vehicle interior exposed to the elements.

Affected Vehicles May Include:

  • Toyota RAV4 (2020–2026)

  • Toyota Highlander (2020–2026)

  • Toyota Corolla Cross (2022–2026)

  • Toyota Sienna (2021–2026)

  • Toyota Tacoma (2020–2026)

  • Toyota 4Runner (2020–2026)
