Sav-Rx Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action relating to a data breach incident involving A&A services d/b/a Sav-RX (“Sav-RX”). a prescription drug service company based out of Nebraska. The organization confirmed that millions of consumers had their information taken in a data breach incident according to a filing with the Maine Attorney General.
What Happened at Sav-RX?
On April 30, 2024, Sav-Rx confirmed that an unauthorized party had gained access to the Company’s system between October 3, 2023-October 8, 2023, resulting in the exposure of sensitive personal information belonging to an estimated 2.8 million individuals. Information compromised as a result of the breach includes, but not limited to, the following: name, mailing address, date of birth, social security number, eligibility data, and health insurance identification number.
