Mercedes Dead Battery – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action lawsuit amid reports from 2019, 2020, and 2021 Mercedes owners that the 48 volt batteries suffer from a defect that causes the car battery to die at random times while the engine is off.
Some owners have said that they were unable to jump-start the car and had to have it it towed to the dealership. The models reportedly affected include the E-, CLS-, GLE-/GLS-Class.
