General Motors Yukon SUV – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action against General Motors (“GM”) concerning reports of faulty tails lights in model year 2017-2019 Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali, and Yukon Denali XL vehicles (“Yukon SUVs”). Specifically, it has been reported these Yukon SUVs are equipped with tail lights that can fail to illuminate without warning, contributing to a higher risk of a rear end collisions, among other safety concerns.
GM addressed a similar problem in certain model year 2015-2016 Yukon vehicles and replaced inoperative tail lights, reimbursed repair costs, and covered replacements for 6 years or 72,000 miles. These reports have also been confirmed by numerous complaints to the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration (“NHTSA”).
If you own a model year 2017-2019 Yukon, Yukon XL, Yukon Denali, or Yukon Denali XL, and have experienced faulty tail lights, please contact the attorneys below.
