District Court Grants Preliminary Approval of Class Action Settlement Involving Dim Headlights in Nissan Altimas

On July 26, 2021, the United States District Court for the Middle District of Tennessee issued an order granting preliminary approval to a class action settlement reached with Nissan in a lawsuit alleging that halogen headlamps in ’13-’18 Altimas become dim over time due to delamination of an inner reflective surface caused by heat and humidity.
