CallOnDoc Data Breach Investigation

CALLONDOC DATA BREACH  INVESTIGATION

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating potential class action claims against CallOnDoc (CallonDoc.com Inc.), a prominent telemedicine platform, for a reported data security incident that is alleged to have impacted the personal and highly sensitive medical information of approximately 1.14 million individuals.

According to recent dark web monitoring reports, a threat actor has claimed to have accessed CallOnDoc’s internal systems. As of this posting, this breach has not been confirmed by CallOnDoc, nor has it been officially reported to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) or state attorney generals.

What Happened at CallOnDoc?

On January 22, 2026, a threat actor known by the alias “iProfessor” posted a database for sale on a dark web forum. The actor claims to have maintained access to the company’s systems as of December 2025 and is currently offering the dataset for $5,000 USD—a price point that often suggests a higher confidence in the data’s validity among cybercriminals.

While no official breach notification has been issued to consumers or regulators, the dark web listing alleges that the compromised files contain over 1 million patient records.

What Information Was Compromised?

According to the threat actor’s description and sample data posted online, the compromised information includes highly sensitive medical and personal details, including but not limited to:

  • Medical Diagnoses (specifically including sensitive STD diagnoses)
  • Prescription Records
  • Consultation Categories (e.g., Men’s/Women’s Health, Dermatology)
  • Patient Names
  • Dates of Birth
  • Physical Addresses
  • Email Addresses

Why Is This Important?

If these allegations are confirmed, the exposure of this specific type of information places patients at a critical risk not just of financial fraud, but of extortion, blackmail, and severe privacy violations.
