Apple iCloud+ Private Relay Class Action Lawsuit

CSKD has filed a class action lawsuit against Apple Inc. concerning allegations that Apple’s iCloud+ Private Relay feature did not provide subscribers with the level of internet privacy and protection Apple represented. Private Relay is offered as part of Apple’s paid iCloud+ subscription service and is promoted as helping protect users’ privacy by concealing their IP addresses and Safari browsing activity.

The lawsuit alleges that Private Relay contained a vulnerability that could expose information the service was intended to protect. As a result, iCloud+ subscribers may not have received the privacy protections for which they paid.
