Amazon Photo ID Biometric Information  – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action lawsuit related to reports that Amazon is requiring photo ID before receiving a refund for returned merchandise. An increasing number of Amazon shoppers have been receiving emails after initiating a return for merchandise requiring consumers to upload photos of valid photo identification to share with Amazon directly, such as a passport, state ID, or driver’s license, in order to get a refund.  If consumers choose not to upload their photo ID, they reportedly forfeit their right to receive a refund.

If you received an email from Amazon requesting a copy of your photo ID, or uploaded a copy of your photo ID to share with Amazon, please fill-out the form provided below.
