Avocado Oil Food Products Mislabeling Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating potential class action claims involving certain food products marketed as being made with or fried in avocado oil.

A recently released study examining avocado oil-containing food products reportedly raised questions about whether some products contained the avocado oil represented on their labels. Consumers may have paid a premium for these products based on representations that they were made with avocado oil, rather than less expensive substitute oils.
