Safeway BOGO Inflation – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D) is investigating reports of company Safeway reportedly inflating the prices of their products during their buy-one-get-one-free sale.

Allegedly, Safeway will advertise the deal, and then raise the regular price on the products promoted in the sale so that consumers are paying a heightened price for the first product to cover the cost of the second “free” product.
