Whirlpool Refrigerator Broken Wires Investigation

CSKD is investigating potential class action claims against Whirlpool arising out of defective wires used in refrigerator and freezer doors.  Consumers have reported that their ice makers, water dispensers, and other functions inside the freezer door of Whirlpool-manufactured refrigerators frequently fail due to broken wires at or near the freezer door hinge, often within just a few years of purchase.  Repairing these broken wires often requires replacement of the entire freezer door, which can cost as much as purchasing a new refrigerator.  If you own a Whirlpool-manufactured refrigerator and have experienced broken wires at the freezer door hinge, please fill out the form below.
