Speed Queen Washer Premature Failure  – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP (“CSK&D”) is investigating reports that Speed Queen washers can premature fail due to motor failure. Owners of Speed Queen washers report that their washers suddenly stop working due to a suspected motor failure. These washers carry warranty terms that are five years at minimum. When consumers contact customer service, they are told that replacement parts are unavailable due to being on backorder, and some are even told they are responsible for labor costs out-of-pocket even if the washer is under warranty.
