Riding Lawn Mower Fires Investigation

CSKD is investigating potential class action claims involving riding lawn mowers, lawn tractors, and zero-turn mowers that have caught fire, smoked, melted, or overheated during ordinary use or while parked and shut off. Reports across multiple manufacturers — including John Deere, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, Bad Boy, Bobcat, Hustler, Kubota, Ariens, Gravely, Craftsman, Ryobi, and Country Clipper — describe units bursting into flames, often resulting in total loss of the mower and property damage.  Consumer reports and recent recalls suggest that the underlying defects leading to fire-related incidents could include faulty voltage regulators, fuel-line failures, electrical and wiring defects, and battery thermal runaway.

If you own (or owned) a riding lawn mower, lawn tractor, or zero-turn mower that caught fire, smoked, melted, or overheated, please fill out the form below with details of your experience.
