Coronavirus College Closure – Room and Board Refunds Class Action Investigation

As universities and colleges close their campuses in light of the coronavirus pandemic, many of these schools have instructed students to vacate college housing and are conducting classes online.  Some colleges have not yet committed to refunding a portion of room and board payments and/or facilities fees, however, placing students in the difficult position of having to find alternative housing and pay for alternative meals without the benefit of money they already paid for room and board.
