Oral-B iO Series Electric Toothbrush Power Failure  – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action lawsuit related to reports that Oral-B iO series electric toothbrushes have a rechargeable battery that fails to hold a charge. Specifically, it is reported that these electric toothbrushes have a faulty battery management system (“BMS”) that prevents the rechargeable lithium battery from being adequately charged. When this happens, the toothbrush may stop working after only 30 to 40 seconds after it has been fully charged. In other instances, it will fail to even power back on.

Models that are potentially affected by this power failure include all iO series toothbrush models, including iO Series 9 and iO Series 4 toothbrush models, among other iO models.

If you purchased an Oral-B iO series rechargeable toothbrush that has experienced power failure issues, please fill-out the form provided below.
