Nicholas E. Chimicles Announces Law Firm Name Change

Nicholas E. Chimicles, founder and senior partner of CHIMICLES & TIKELLIS LLP, announced that as the law firm celebrated its 25th anniversary its name was being changed to reflect the retirement of former name partner Pamela Tikellis and the greater leadership role of senior partners Kimberly M. Donaldson-Smith, Robert J. Kriner and Steven A. Schwartz. The firm, which will now be known as CHIMICLES SCHWARTZ  KRINER & DONALDSON-SMITH LLP, will continue to operate from its offices in Haverford PA and Wilmington DE, specializing in prosecuting high-impact cases that protect the rights of investors and consumers. Those cases arise in many contexts including product and service defects, health care, insurance, employee and pension benefits, and shareholders being victimized by corporate management. In announcing the firm’s name change, Chimicles said that “it reflected the increasing role of the partners who represent the next generation of the firm’s leadership, something that we wanted to be visible outside the firm.” Chimicles will continue to be the Chair of the firm’s Executive Committee and indicated that he has no plans to retire in the foreseeable future and remains actively engaged in all case matters. “I love what I do and look forward to going to the office each day. Working with my colleagues to fight for the underrepresented and victims of corporate greed is my daily tonic.” Chimicles also noted that the firm continues to grow, having added four new associates in 2018. “We have nearly 20 full-time lawyers on our professional staff. We just moved into new office space in Wilmington that has room for expansion. The future is looking bright for the firm; it’s an exciting time for us,” Chimicles added.
