Lamar Trailers Made in the USA – Class Action Investigation

CSK&D is investigating potential claims against Lamar Trailers concerning alleged misrepresentations that certain trailers were “Made in the USA.” The Federal Trade Commission recently found that Lamar used “Made in USA” claims, including on stickers affixed to its trailers, that did not comply with federal standards after the company moved certain manufacturing operations to Mexico, and the FTC required Lamar to remove those claims from its trailers, dealer inventory, websites, and marketing materials.

Despite these corrective actions, Lamar did not provide any relief to consumers who previously purchased trailers in reliance on those “Made in the USA” representations.
