Ford Explorer & Escape Power Steering Failure Class Action Lawsuit Investigation

CSK&D is investigating reports that certain models of Ford Escape and Explorer models experience power steering issues. Specifically, owners of certain 2016-2018 Ford Explorer or Escape models report that a service assistant failure warning (e.g., “steering fault” or “steering assist fault”) will pop-up on their dashboard without warning while the car in operation, causing the steering wheel to lock making steering very difficult. This can pose a serious safety risk especially at busy intersections and when driving on highways.
