District Court Grants Preliminary Approval of $45 Million Settlement in Walmart Weighted Groceries Class Action

On January 19, 2024, the Honorable Virginia M. Hernandez Covington granted preliminary approval of the proposed $45 million settlement of the Class Action lawsuit Kukorinis, et al. v. Walmart, Inc., which was filed in October 2022 by Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP in federal court in Tampa, Florida.  The final approval hearing before Judge Covington is scheduled for June 12, 2024.  Details about the lawsuit and the proposed settlement can be found on the settlement website: https://www.walmartweightedgroceriessettlement.com/.
