Crizal Lens Coating – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (CSK&D) is investigating potential class action claims against Essilor of America arising out of allegations that its Crizal lens coating is defective and fails to provide the promised glare and scratch resistance. Many consumers have reported that the coating develops small scratches, cracks, or crazing during ordinary use. These defects result in additional glare, which would not have occurred absent the coating, thereby defeating the purpose of this expensive premium coating.
