Audi BSG Class Action Settlement

On October 8, 2024, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey granted final approval of a class action settlement involving allegedly defective Belt Starter Generators (or “BSGs”) in over 169,000 Audi vehicles manufactured. Class notice has just gone out.

The settlement provides reimbursement for certain repair costs including BSGs and batteries, and towing and alternative transportation (such as rental cars, rideshare, train, etc.), in addition to a ten-year warranty on all class vehicles’ BSGs.
