2023-2025 BMW Integrated Braking Systems Defect – Class Action Investigation
CSK&D is launching an investigation into a potential class action concerning BMW’s announcement of defective integrated braking system in certain 2023-2024 models. Earlier this year, BMW issued a recall affecting approximately 80,000 vehicles in the U.S. to address persistent complaints about its Integrated Brake System (IBS). Despite a free replacement provided as part of the recall, recent findings reveal that nearly 11,500 of these vehicles may still be experiencing issues. In October 2024, BMW appears to have expanded its recall and indicated it, as of October 25, 2024, does not have a repair for the integrated braking systems.
