2021 Ford Bronco Engine – Class Action Investigation
CSK&D is investigating a potential class action case concerning reports that 2021 Ford Broncos and 2021 Ford Bronco Sports equipped with the 2.7L V6 EcoBoost engine are experiencing loss of motive power due to an alleged defect on the valves of the engine. The alleged defect causes the engines to “lock up” or otherwise fail without warning, often times when operators are driving at high speeds. In certain instances, the alleged defect also prevents the cars from starting again after the engine shuts down.
This alleged defect has caused an investigation from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
