Yeti Hopper & Sidekick Dry Cooler Recall – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner Donaldson-Smith is investigating a potential class action related to a recent voluntary recall issued on different Yeti coolers. Specifically, Yeti issued a voluntary recall of the Hopper M20, M30 1.0 and 2.0, and the Sidekick Dry after identifying an alleged design defect where the magnet lined closures on these products can fail and release magnet, posing a potential risk of serious injury or death if ingested. Consumers in possession of these products are urged to completely cease use of these products. To remedy those who own these recalled coolers, Yeti is offering customers either a suggested replacement product of equal or greater value or a full refund of a Yeti gift card.
However, Yeti is not offering a full refund in the form of cash, and the replacements coolers being offered in place of the recalled ones are materially different.
If you own one of these coolers subject to this recall, please contact the attorney(s) listed below.
