Washington State Department of Licensing Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

The Washington State Department of Licensing discovered this data breach on January 24, 2022 after becoming aware that the state’s business and professional license system was exposed to unauthorized activity. Approximately 650,000 individuals with business registrations and/or professional license information registered with Washington state may have been affected by this breach.
