Verizon—Overcharges and Deceptive Billing Practices

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Verizon regarding allegations of overcharges and other deceptive billing practices.  Normally, a service provider can bill only for the fees and services to which a customer has agreed.  C&T is investigating whether Verizon has been overcharging its customers for fees and services that customers never agreed to or that Verizon never fully disclosed.  These overcharges can vary by type and amount.  Some examples of the services for which Verizon has overcharged customers are local calls, direct dial calls, long distance services, and Verizon Freedom for the home or business.
