Ubiquiti Tariff Surcharge Investigation
CSKD is investigating potential class action claims seeking to recover “tariff surcharge” fees charged by Ubiquiti on purchases made through its online store and also through its distributors.
Consumers report that Ubiuquiti began charging a roughly 7.5% tariff surcharge on many products after “Liberation Day” tariffs were imposed under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) in April 2025. Ubiquiti distributors also typically charged these additional amounts but embedded them in the product price. The Supreme Court recently held that the enactment of these tariffs was not legal and the federal government is provided refunds to importers, like Ubiquiti. Ubiquiti has not provided a refund of tariff surcharges to consumers who paid them, however.
If you purchased products from Ubiquiti and paid a tariff surcharge, we encourage you to contact our firm for a free and confidential review.
