The Schubert Organization Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

The Schubert Organization Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

CSK&D is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against one of the largest theatrical organizations and Broadway theatre owner The Schubert Organization (“Schubert”), following reports that the company experienced a payment card data breach.  Early reports indicate that the breach exposed consumers’ email addresses, names, credit card numbers, and expiration dates.  The enormity of the breach is not known at this time, and Schubert has not provided much detail about the incident either.

Affected customers have been contacted via a letter providing notice of the breach.  The letter detailed what Shubert knows regarding the breach, and identified that it is providing 24 months of credit monitoring services through TransUnion Interactive system. It also included information on “Steps You Can Take to Protect Against Identity Theft and Fraud.”

CSK&D will continue to monitor this data breach, but if you believe you have been impacted and have suffered actual fraud as a result of the data breach at The Schubert Organization, please contact the lawyers listed below.
