The Reserve Trust Company Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
CSK&D is investigating a potential data breach class action lawsuit relating to recent news that the company The Reserve Trust Company, who acts as an escrow depository and independent custodian for a number of business clients, has recently reported being a victim of a data breach.
Specifically, on May 4, 2020, the Company discovered that an unauthorized hacker had gained access to certain Reserve Trust email accounts that potentially exposed the personal information for an unspecified number of people. Data compromised as result of the breach may include, but not limited to: individuals’ names, addresses, Social Security numbers, driver’s license numbers, as well as financial information.
