Takata Airbag Defects – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased vehicles with Takata airbags installed.  It has been alleged that many of Takata’s airbags are defective and prone to explode and, in the process, expel lethal metal debris and shrapnel.  It has been further alleged that Takata was aware of the defective nature of their airbags as far back as early 2000, yet Takata and various automobile manufacturers failed to disclose the dangerous nature of the airbags to consumers until recently.  The allegedly defective airbags have been installed in the following vehicles:
