Sunscreen Pills False Advertising
Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP (CSK&D) is investigating a potential class action alleging that supplement manufacturers falsely advertise the efficacy of their “sunscreen pills.” These supplements purportedly serve as a viable alternative to topically-applied sunscreens. In recent news, the FDA issued a warning letter accusing the supplement manufacturers of engaging in misleading advertising. These brands include:

- Sunsafe RX;
- Solariscare; and
- Sunergetic
None of these supplements are FDA approved, nor is the safety or efficacy of these products verified.
