Strayer University – Class Action Investigation

Strayer University – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis LLP (C&T) is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Strayer University on behalf of former and current Strayer University students. Strayer University has been the subject of several government investigations and private lawsuits in recent years. Beginning in late 2012 through October 2013, a Strayer University admissions official worked with two co-conspirators in a conspiracy to create at least 58 fraudulent official Strayer University transcripts so that foreign students would appear eligible to retain their student visas in the United States. The official and his co-conspirators were ordered to forfeit nearly $300,000 of proceeds from the fraud to the United States government and the official was convicted of large-scale immigration fraud.
