Sketchers Gowalk Inaccurate Sleep Tracking – Class Action Investigation

Sketchers Gowalk Inaccurate Sleep Tracking – Class Action Investigation

C&T is investigating a potential class action against wearable-maker Sketchers relating to its Gowalk activity tracker wearables which it advertises as capable of sleep tracking or sleep monitoring. Specifically, the Gowalk is advertised as containing a built-in accelerometer which supposedly tracks not only total hours slept but can also track sleep patterns. Sketchers specifically claims that the Gowalk displays “hours slept and quality of sleep on your phone.” C&T is investigating reports that the Gowalk does not show “when you were in deep or light sleep” or any other indications about “quality of sleep.”
