Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Recall/Refund-Related Fees – Class Action Investigation

Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Recall/Refund-Related Fees – Class Action Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis LLP (C&T) is investigating a potential class action lawsuit against Samsung following its formal recall of Galaxy Note 7 smartphones and Samsung’s recent announcement that consumers should power down all Galaxy Note 7 phones and turn these phones in for a refund. The Galaxy Note 7 smartphone has been in the news in recent weeks due to a defect in the phones that causes the phones to overheat and, in some instances, start fires. C&T is investigating whether consumers are being charged service-related or administrative fees in conjunction with the refund or recall and the transfer of consumers’ telephone lines from the Galaxy Note 7 to their new cell phone or smartphone.

If you have sought a refund or returned your Galaxy Note 7 smartphone and have been assessed a fee in connection therewith or in conjunction with switching your line to a new phone, please contact the lawyers listed on this page.
