ReproSource Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating a potential data breach class action lawsuit against a Massachusetts-based fertility clinic “ReproSource” following recent news of an alleged data breach involving the possible theft of sensitive information.
In a statement from ReproSource, it discovered this data breach on August 10th, an unauthorized party accessed the network on August 8, 2021. The company then severed all network connection activity and launched an investigation to determine the cause.
The information potentially exposed in this data breach include: names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, billing and health information, CPT codes, diagnosis codes, test requisitions and results, test reports, and/or medical history information, health insurance or group plan identification names and numbers, and other information provided by individuals or by treating physicians.
