Onsite Mammography Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is actively investigating a potential class action relating to a data breach incident involving Onsite Mammography. This Massachusetts based organization provides medical imaging services to hospitals all over the United States.
What Happened at Onsite Mammography?
In or around October 2024, Onsite Mammography discovered suspicious activity on its system. Further internal investigation revealed that an unauthorized user had gained access to an employee email account. Onsite Mammography recently notified the Maine Attorney General that 357,265 individuals’ protected health information has been exposed as result of the breach including, but not limited to: full name, social security number, date of birth, medical record numbers, and health information.
Onsite Mammography sent notices to all affected individuals on April 15, 2025, to make them aware of the breach.
