MNGI Digestive Health Data Breach – Class Action Investigation

The Company confirmed that 765,937 individuals had their information taken in a data breach incident according to a filing with the Maine Attorney General.
What Happened at MNGI Digestive Health?
On or around August 20, 2023, an unauthorized user gained access to MNGI Digestive Health’s system. MNGI Digestive Health retained a cybersecurity firm to conduct further investigation to confirm the scope of the breach. Following the investigation’s completion, it was confirmed that the information compromised may have included: names, medical information, health insurance information, dates of birth, patient account numbers, financial account information, driver’s license/photo ID number, passport numbers, payment card information, usernames/passwords, taxpayer information, biometric data, and/or social security numbers.
