Mercedes-Benz C-Class Taillight Failure and Trunk Fire Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased model year 2008-2011 Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicles.  It has been alleged that the C-Class vehicles contain a wiring defect that causes one or both of the rear light assemblies (including the stoplight, taillight, and turn signals) to cease functioning and, in some instances, may also cause trunk fires.  It has been further alleged that the wiring defect is caused by corrosion between taillight connectors which causes the ground wires to overheat and that the likelihood of this failure increases as the C-Class vehicles age.

If you or someone you know owns or leases a Mercedes-Benz C-Class vehicle and has experienced failures with the rear light assemblies and/or a trunk fire, please use the “Email us about this Case” to contact the attorneys below.
