Lowe’s Laminate Flooring – Formaldehyde Investigation

Chimicles & Tikellis is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of consumers who purchased laminate flooring from Lowe’s. It has been reported that recent testing on laminate flooring that was sold at Lowe’s stores revealed that it contained excessive levels of formaldehyde. C&T is also investigating reports that these samples contained levels of formaldehyde that exceeded those permitted by the California Air Resources Board. Formaldehyde is a colorless chemical that has been classified as a probable human carcinogen by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
