LiveRez Data Breach Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith is investigating potential class action claims against LiveRez regarding a recent data security incident that may have impacted the personal information of an unknown number of individuals.
According to a breach notification filed with the Maine Attorney General’s Office, an unauthorized actor accessed the LiveRez platform and acquired personal information stored therein.
What Happened at LiveRez?
Between September 18, 2025, and October 3, 2025, an unauthorized actor accessed the LiveRez software platform. LiveRez worked with a cybersecurity firm to conduct an investigation, which concluded on October 21, 2025, and revealed that the unauthorized actor acquired individuals’ personal data stored in the LiveRez platform. LiveRez began to notify affected individuals on November 20, 2025.
What Information Was Compromised?
The compromised data may include, but is not limited to, the following:
- Full names
- Billing addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Card numbers, expiration dates, and card verification codes
Why Is This Important?
The exposure of this highly sensitive information places affected individuals at a significantly increased risk of identity theft, financial fraud, and other related harms. The theft of card information is particularly severe, as this data can be exploited by criminals for years to come.
