Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Charging Defect – Class Action Investigation

CSK&D investigating a potential class action case related to reports about a product defect affecting recent Lenovo ThinkPad laptop models. Specifically, it is reported that certain ThinkPad laptop models from 2017-2019 suffer from a faulty USB-C firmware preventing the laptop from being charged or any external devices connected to the laptop from being recognized.
