JP Morgan recently revealed that 76 million households and 7 million small businesses may have had their private data compromised in a recent data breach. In its SEC filing, JP Morgan confirmed that user contact information was compromised. JP Morgan has publically stated that there is no evidence that sensitive financial data was compromised during the breach. JP Morgan, however, has indicated it is continuing to monitor users accounts’ for fraud.
