Glacier Bay Faucet– Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of purchasers of Glacier Bay-brand faucets sold at Home Depot. Specifically, purchasers of these faucets are reporting instances of the faucets failing due to compromised stainless-steel braiding. The braiding in the faucet’s supply lines is made with metals that are vulnerable to corrosion when they are exposed to certain household cleaning products. When corroding, the stainless-steel braids will rust and weaken leading to decreased support for the line’s inner polymer tubing that can lead inevitably to the bursting of the supply chain.
