Gillette Shave Gel Canister – Class Action Investigation

C&T is investigating a number of Gillette shaving gel products in light of allegations that its canisters fail to properly dispense shaving gel. Specifically, C&T is investigating reports that Gillette’s shaving gel canisters lack sufficient propellant to allow consumers to extract all of the product contained in the canister. Allegedly, as much as 75% of the shaving gel product in certain Gillette canisters may not be extractable and goes to waste. Consumers pay a price point for products such as Gillette shaving gel based upon the net weight of the product. The inability to use all of the product in one unit due to a potential defect in Gillette’s canisters and gel-dispensing technology may be actionable under state and federal consumer laws.

If you have purchased a Gillette shaving gel product and have experienced a situation where you have not been able to use all of the product in the canister, please contact us using the form on this page.
