GEICO Data Breach – Class Action Investigation
Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith LLP is investigating a potential class action on behalf of consumers whose drivers’ license numbers were accessed through the online sales system on the GEICO website. According to GEICO, these third party fraudsters were able to access this information between January 21, 2021 and March 21, 2021 and were able to use it to fraudulently apply for unemployment benefits.
