GAF Decking MDL

On December 4, 2015, plaintiffs filed a Second Amended Omnibus Master Complaint (“Complaint”) in the District of New Jersey on behalf of over 30 class representatives and a putative class of consumers who purchased and installed GAF Elk Cross Timbers and/or DuraLife composite decking (“Decking”) that was sold by GAF. The Complaint alleges that the Decking is defective and is prone to warping, staining, mildew growth, and a variety of other problems. The Complaint further alleges that GAF misrepresented the quality and durability of the Decking to consumers. A copy of the Complaint is available below.

On February 4, 2015, Magistrate Judge Dickson appointed Benjamin F. Johns of Chimicles & Tikellis to the Plaintiffs’ Steering Committee.
