Epic Games is the maker of the hit online battle royale game Fortnite. The Company acknowledged on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 that a security bug existed in the game’s log-in system, allowing hackers access to sensitive credit card information for an undisclosed number of players. On average, 80 million people play Fortnite monthly, and the game has 200 million registered accounts.
