Fiat, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge Excessive Engine Oil Consumption – Class Action Lawsuit Investigation
CSK&D is investigating reports that certain Fiat Chrysler vehicles with 2.4 L Tigershark multiair engines experience problems with excessive oil consumption. These vehicles include:
- 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Jeep Cherokee
- 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Jeep Renegade
- 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Jeep Compass
- 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 Dodge Dart
- 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Ram ProMaster City
- 2015, 2016 Chrysler 200
- 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Fiat 500X
- 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Fiat Toro
Consumers report having to add oil much more frequently than expected. Some consumers further report having their engines stall unexpectedly while driving only to find the oil reservoir empty.
